 No Man's Sky is a science fiction video game with adventure and survival elements, developed and published by independent studio Hello Games. Announced with a video during the Spike Video Game Awards 2013, No Man's Sky was released on August 9, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and to be released on August 12, 2016 for Microsoft Windows.

 In No Man's Sky, players are free to explore a whole universe, generated procedurally, which includes about 18 quintillion of planets, all with flora and own fauna. When the player first begins to play No Man's Sky, is placed on a planet on the edge of the galaxy, and from there are free to go wherever they want. The goal is to reach the center of the galaxy and Sean Murray (developer) said it takes about 40 to 120 hours for the player to get to him. While exploring, players gain information about the planets and submit what they have learned to the Atlas, a universal database shared by all players in the game. Players also collect materials to improve the equipment of your character and buy ships, allowing travel farther into the galaxy, interact in friendly and unfriendly ways with space factions controlled by the CPU, or to trade with other ships. Some activities warn the sentries calls, which protect the life and resources of the planets, trying to kill the player character. No Man's Sky is a shared universe in which for example players can exchange coordinate planets with friends, although the game can be played without being connected to the Internet.
